Look A Decade Younger With Baking Soda

The baking soda is an item used for many things, from cleaning, to skin care and even health. Usually it is used for a cough, but also for curing and preventing health issues and even making clothes whiter.

Besides this, the soda also absorbs bad odors and can freshen up carpets and even clean surfaces. But for beauty is even more amazing!

Here are the uses:

1. Acne

Baking soda is great for treatment of acne and the results of the treatment are quick. You will need to mix baking soda and water in order to get a paste. Use this paste on the affected area and afterwards wash it off.

2. Soften skin

If your skin feels dry you should mix baking soda, soap and water. Use this mixture to massage the hands in order to soften the skin. Make sure that you use warm water. Also this mixture is great for removing the smell of cooking on your hands.

3. Fresh breath

Most probably you have tried mint drops, but you must agree they are not enough to remove the bad breath. Instead you can use sodium bicarbonate to remove the bad breath. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and use it to clean your mouth and throat. This way you will get rid of all bacteria in the mouth and the breath will freshen up. Repeat this method every day.

4. Whitening teeth

Get the toothpaste you use and read the label for the items, there should be also baking soda. When mixed with hydrogen peroxide, this makes teeth whiter, but do not use it too often since the enamel might get damaged. Once a week is enough.

5. Less body odor

Add one cup of baking soda in your bathtub. This will neutralize bacteria and acids, freshen skin and remove excess oil too. Do this 2 times per week for smoother skin.

6. Clean nails

To prepare nail paste, mix 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water and apply it. Rinse afterwards.

7. Cleans your hair

Shampoos and conditioners never work as advertised and might seriously damage your hair and scalp. Luckily, baking soda can clean your scalp and skin even better – use it once a month to regulate your scalp’s pH levels and improve the quality of your hair.

8. A natural exfoliator

Run some baking soda on your skin every day to remove dead skin cells and keep it clean.

9. Prevent sweating

In order to prevent sweating you should mix few drops of essential oil and 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Apply this mixture under your armpits and enjoy the fresh smell. All the bacteria will be gone and you will not sweat as before. You may reapply it every couple of hours.
